The Beginning of our Epically Amazing Summer as Newlyweds :D

I AM SORRY FOR NOT BLOGGING!!!!!
I have been quite busy the past few weeks ever since school ended! I know, you would think things would slow down after school, but it really hasn't, but in a different way. The beginning of our summer has been quite amazing though. I, myself, have been doing this...
READING.
VISITING SAN ANTONIO.
DOING MY FIRST 5K.

WORKING OUT.

ANDDDDDDDD...

SLEEPING. LOTS OF SLEEPING.

My summer has been like that, for the most part. Here is a run down on Matthew's summer too. :P

I know. He is adorable. I didn't even bother captioning his pictures just because I feel like my caption wouldn't do his pictures justice. Heehee, I love my boy.

Anyway, we leave for our trip in three days. I have been busy doing alot of laundry and writing out a list of things we need to pack and take care of before we go.

I only have one concern for this excursion that we are going on: the weather. Matthew and I will be traveling up through Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska on our trip so I am going to have to keep a close eye on the skies, especially since it is tornado season. The weather around that area has been too unpredictable.

I will be taking my laptop so I can write updates on our blog about the adventure! This is the first time that Matthew and I have done something like this. Just us. Doing the same exact thing. No distractions. No one else. Just us. I am sure by the end of the trip, we will want to kill each other. Haha, just kidding, but this is a first for us. We are really excited. I am downright giddy about it. We almost decided to postpone this trip because of school, but Matthew made the decision to go ahead and do it. Why? Because this may be our only opportunity to do something like this with just us without the hassles of school, work, and children. We want to be able to tell stories about this vacation to our kids one day. You know? Those lovely stories that parents tell their kids about how the dad had to fight off a wild coyote while they were camping, or how the mom jumped off a 50 foot cliff into 400 foot deep water. That kind of thing. :)

I don't know. Maybe Matthew and I will have a god-awful time, or I will get eaten by a bear or something. I don't care though. We are making memories as newlyweds, and those kind of memories are what make a marriage more colorful. More exciting. More beautiful. :)
