Our Epic Nerdy Newlywed Adventure: Day Eleven

                       Today was another driving day for us, but it was a good one. Why? Because we are now only an hour away from Yosemite National Park! We had a nice drive today. I spent most of my time dancing in the car to some music on the radio while Matthew looked upon me as if he was thoroughly entertained. The drive didn't take long at all (six hours.) There wasn't very much to look at in the way of scenery. A lot of cows and a lot of trees. Orange trees. 

                        We decided to park it in Sonora, California. We were originally trying to get a room at the Best Western hotel, but they were completely full. The nice lady there gave us the number to the Sonora Inn... We went ahead and called to get a room for a few nights. Let me tell you: the hotel is charming. 

                                  The Sonora Inn has been around since 1896. Let me tell you: everything feels like it is slanting to the left a bit. We love it here though. It has a lot of charm, and we are happy to be able to stay here for a few nights. 
                                  After checking in, we ate dinner at an Italian restaurant connected to the hotel for dinner. It wasn't too bad at all :)

                              After dinner, we went swimming for about two hours in the pool together. We had it all to ourselves so we had a great time playing games and lounging in the water.

                              Tomorrow, we will head out on our adventure to Yosemite!!! I can't explain how excited I am for this! I'll get tons of pictures. Until tomorrow!
