By the way, I would like to say that the sunset and sunrise hours around these parts are really weird. The sun didn't completely set until around 10:30p.m. last night and the sun rose at about 5:30a.m. this morning. I'm not even kidding. It was really weird.
Today, we drove deeper into Montana while listening to some intense sports talk radio. That's kind of what we do on long car rides. We take pictures...
And listened to the radio, yelling and debating about performance-enhancing drugs in sports.
We are now parked at Polson, Montana, looking upon the beautiful Flathead Lake. The water looks so pretty, but it is quite cold!
Your senses are assaulted when you arrive here. The air is so fresh and the air is nice and crisp. We will be staying here for a couple of nights.
The only problem we struggled with while we were here was trying to figure out what to eat for dinner... We drove an hour just to eat at an Applebees (but it was okay because we had a nice, slow dinner.) Tonight, we will be swimming in the pool or maybe even trying the slots. (Yes, Matthew can too since we are on a reservation.)
Tomorrow, we will be brave and ATTEMPT to swim in the beautiful, clear lake (if we can stand the cold.) I'm excited to. Matthew? He just thinks it's pretty and is content with that. Don't worry. I'll get pics. ;) I can't wait though. It will be a very calming, relaxing day tomorrow. Just what we need before we tackle the road again in a couple of days. :)
