I must say: Today was quite a fun day for just being a day of driving, for the most part.
Matthew and I spent most of the time driving through the middle part and western part of Nebraska, but we did get some pretty photos.
These were just in Nebraska. It was a comfy temperature outside too. For those who are curious, and want to follow our route, we went on a more backroad called highway 2. That's where I took these. I think my favorite part may have been imagining how the Native Americans would roam the plains and the hills with all the buffalo. This thought also made me feel a little melancholy...
Our trip got even better when we made it tooooooooooo
There was alot of just...well... nothing... for a little bit, but then an explosion of prettiness occurred as we got closer to our destination.
I wish the pictures could have been a bit better, but I was in the truck so I couldn't get the shots I wanted very clearly.
THEN... the fun began :D Let me tell my story through pictures!

Tomorrow, we are going to explore the Black Hills and see Mount Rushmore. We are staying here until Saturday. Then? Well, it will be time to make our way elsewhere. However, we are pretty content staying right here for a couple of days, enjoying what South Dakota has to offer us Texas kids. <3
