A Young Maroney Adventure: Step One= Planning

                 Hey guys! Sorry I haven't blogged in a bit. I've been pretty busy lately, and couldn't seem to gather up the energy to blog.

            SO GUESS WHAT???

                 Matthew and I have about two more weeks left of school until summer begins! Eeeeeeeep! I don't know about anyone else out there, but I'm pretty excited to have a small break from the ever-looming deadlines of school assignments ( but not for too long.)

                  Later in May, Matthew and I are taking a very long road trip around the western portion of the good ol' U.S. of A. We shall be seeing this...

                  I am SOOO excited to go on our little adventure. It's a little less than a month away, and I've been planning out our routes with him.

When I was twelve and thirteen, I went on a road trip like this with my family. It was easily

one of the best times of my life. I went to Yosemite, Arches Nat. Park, Carlsbad Caverns, the Grand Canyon, the Painted Desert, L.A., etc. I can't wait to show some of this earthly magic with Matthew.

 

                    I am excited to share this adventure with my special guy. We had a short honeymoon due to school, and I feel like this is a great opportunity for us to have one-on-one time with each other without the distractions and bothers of people, schoolwork, and all-around life.  *sighs* It relaxes me just thinking about it.

 

               We're not too sure how long this trip will be yet just because we have a bit of spontaneity in us. That's a good thing. I feel like these days that we all don't have enough of that. We always have to plan out where we will be at what time and how long we'll stay there and blah blah blah. NO. This trip shall not have that. We will merely be enjoying our company together as we drive down the roads and enjoy the natural beauty that God has blessed us with. Quite frankly, I'll probably keep my phone off alot of the time just so I can soak in what's around me.

 

              Gahhhh, okay, I'll stop talking about it now. I'm just so excited. Matthew and I got to get our kicks in while we're still young!
