Our Epic Nerdy Newlywed Adventure: Day Three

             Today was... ahhhh... today was amazing. It was just... ahhhh, I can't. First, let me tell you where we started. We went to Crazy Horse first, and I thought it was truly amazing. I underestimated what it would be like which made the experience even better.

After our time there, we drove to Custer and found

a trail to walk on. We walked for two hours, and had a major calorie burn (I enjoyed that.)

I named her Missy. :P

                 After we finished our hike, we decided to do something a little bit spontaneous.

We went on a helicopter ride!!!

                  We absolutely loved it. It was something random, and we got a lovely view of the Black Hills!

                   

           Then we decided to see the famous Mount Rushmore. I had never seen it, but Matthew has. It was pretty interesting to see.

                 After our long day together, it was time for us to settle down for some dinner.

               It is difficult to say what my favorite part of our adventure was today. One would think that my favorite part was probably Mount Rushmore, but I wouldn't say it was. I think that spending a nice hike in between the hills with my love, and the helicopter ride were my favorite parts. I also got my Indian name from a Native American. Because I have a "special connection" with trees, my Indian/Spirit name is Chan Nahghi Win. That means "Tree Spirit Woman." I loved that! Now, we are relaxing in the hotel before we head out tomorrow. I will not reveal where we are heading next because I think we all need a little mystery in our lives. I may reveal it in the next day or two though. Until then! :D
